This is my mates and me in front of a Larch tree (Fitzroya
cupressoides)
Reserva
Nacional Lanquihue January 2015
This
photograph was taken by a classmate that we call "tata”. It is me and some
of my classmates around a larch tree (Fitzroya cupressoides) that was
over a thousand years, and I say "WAS" because the tree it is located
in the national reserve Llanquihue near to the Calbuco vulcano that erupted like
six or seven months ago, so that tree it is probably burned or buried by the
volcanic materials.
This
picture was taken in January, like three months before the Calbuco eruption. We
were doing the university summer practice.
I
really like this photo because it was a long trip through the forest to get to
that larch tree, although it was a really exhausting trip, I loved the
landscapes we saw and the nature was so amazing to see and study. I also like
this picture because I am with my university mates that has become my friends.
I
feel really fortunate because I knew that place before the natural catastrophe
that maybe buried all the nature nearby the volcano. It will take so many years
and generations to the nature to come back to its previous state.

nice pic estebannnnnn beautiful moments :D
